Central to the work of the Royal British Legion is the charitable and welfare work. The Legion is called upon for help hundreds of thousands times every year.

We are a non political organisation whose reason for being is to help the ex-Service community. We are able to offer help and expert advice wherever it is needed. The legion can help with those complicated claims forms, we visit the lonely in hospital and in their homes. We give advice on war widow pensions and represent individuals at tribunals, sometimes even assisting with the costs.
